This might work if the documents were _extremely_ simple. The problem is
that HTML just doesn't support the level of formatting usually needed for a
scientific paper.
Everytime I've tried to convert a scientific-type paper (created in either
LaTeX or Word) into HTML, everything is screwed up. The mathematical
formulas are particularly tricky; saving to HTML in Word just converts the
formulas to GIFS and doesn't even try to describe them using HTML.
