Re: Software Documentation

Hi All,
I hate to capitalize unless there's a reason to do so. I am looking for a
guideline and source for whether or not, or when, to capitalize system
features when they are not interface terms.

Example:

Should we write:

On many screens, you can search for consumer records using one of the two
lookup features that XXXX Version 2.0 provides: quick lookup or lookup
screens. Not all work screens have the lookup features available to them.

Or should we write:

On many screens, you can search for consumer records using one of the two
Lookup features that XXXX Version 2.0 provides: Quick Lookup or Lookup
screens. Not all work screens have the Lookup features available to them.

Thank you for your help.

Rebecca
