Matrox offers several of these benefits (and then some) as standard "perks"
to all employees. Unfortunately it never stopped all the griping about the
low salary.

In December of last year Matrox raised salaries and "standardized" them
according to titles and experience. It worked.

More people are staying at Matrox because of it.
Perks may get you to accept a job, but they will never get you to keep it if
you cannot pay your bills.
