For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
"Conditional Text" is a FrameMaker feature for putting in comments or
other "hide/show" text.
Conditions are applied to text, graphics, and table parts. You get to
choose a color and line to indicate where the conditions start and
stop. You would set up a condition and apply it, then start typing
your text. Or, type the text, select it, then apply a condition.
