I've received the following request. Does anybody know the answer?

> I have been asked by a colleague if I can find details of the top 10
global technical authoring companies in Europe and North America; the
companies
to be ranked by turnover and information to include number of employees and
specialist area of activity. From the secondary research I have
undertaken I have been unable to find anything other than 'adhoc' companies
who
appear to offer technical authoring services and often these are 'one -man
bands'.
