Michelle...I wasn't questioning anyone's parenting skills. That
thought never crossed my mind. I'm not even a parent.

I guess you could say that I was responding to the memory of the half
dozsen or so pre-teens that I'd had in back of my ambulance over a
period of time.

Any instruction come with it the accumulation of prior experience as
a foundation. If it didn't, we would be starting all of our advanced
software instructions with how to start a compyter and how to use
Windows. Once you reach a certain level of expertise in the kitchen
that most 10 year olds don't possess, you just know that you don't
use BOTH a microwave and stovetop.

So, if a parent wants to allow a 10 year old to cook Mac/Cheese,
that's fine...but I wouldn't blame the mfgr for not coming to the
same conmclusion.
