Henry Vandelinde asked for information on the LinkOne format.

LinkOne is a documentation delivery system developed by the Australian
mining company Mincom - which has also now become one of the larger IT
developers targeting industrial applications in Australia.

The Australian Defence Organisation is a major user of LinkOne for
displaying illustrated repair parts breakdown lists and similar types of
documents.

In the Australian Defence environment, the DoD licenses the product and it
is available free to any defence supplier authoring documents for the DoD
system.

I also checked the Mincom Web site, and note that Siemens MED is a LinkOne
user (http://www.mincom.com/linkone/siemens_med.htm). I have not actually
prepared documents for the system myself, but practical information on how
it works can be found on http://www.mincom.com/linkone/l1_FAQ_frame.htm.
