We have a series of FrameMaker files that contain both English and Japanese
text.

I attempted to convert our Japanese FrameMaker files using WebWorks
Publisher 2000 on Windows NT-J. The English text appeared, but the Japanese
was garbage.

I'm assuming I need to edit the UMFont user macro to contain Japanese font
alternatives (ex: replace Verdana/Arial with MS Mincho/MS Gothic). I noticed
that the Japanese fonts in the WinntJ\Fonts folder have Japanese
(double-byte) names. I can't enter double-byte text in the Style Designer
dialog. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue, or do I need to obtain a
copy of WWP that has a double-byte capable UI?

I've posted this to a couple of wwp lists, but they're very low-traffic, so
I thought I might hit a Japanese guru here. If someone knows of a
high-traffic site that might be appropriate, I'd love to hear about it.

Thanks for any pointers....
