Is this ring similar to the scrolling wheel on a scrolling mouse? If so, it
should work in Word (after you have given the work area frame the focus),
but I have never been able to get one to work with an Adobe product (except
possibly for the really great two-wheeled mouse I got years ago for $1 at
Best Buy the day after Thanksgiving).

I have a Kensington Turboring trackball, and I love it
except that I can't get the ring to scroll when I'm
using FrameMaker or Word. Do any of you have
suggestions, or can you recommend a trackball with a
scrolling thingie that will work with all your apps?
