Hey everyone ---

I've been lurking on this list for years and felt compelled to respond to
this topic. :)

As a consultant, I haven't had any questions from potential employers about
how long I stayed at a job. This doesn't seem to be an issue at all in my
experience, but I'm not sure if the same applies for full-time positions.

What I have had some problems with (as a by-product of consulting/job
hopping) is the fact that I don't have recent writing samples because of
confidentiality agreements that I have signed. This can be frustrating to
explain; but savvy companies understand the advantage after they realize none
of their confidential documents will be shown to my next potential employer.

Just another perspective,
