Do you need to retain the formatting? And are you using Reader only or
Acrobat or Exchange?

If you are using Acrobat, choose Copy File to Clipboard from the Edit menu.
This places the entire file on the clipboard and you can past it into
Framemaker or Word, remove what you do not want, and so on. In Word, at
least, you retain some paragraph and character formatting, but you will need
to tweak it.

You can also select the text, press CTRL+C, and then move to Framemaker and
press CTRL+V. You will need to reformat the text using this method. I have
done this in both Reader and Acrobat.

I have to take reports out of PDF files and put them into FrameMaker.
Does anyone know how to get text out of PDF easily and quickly? Are
there any tools available for the PC that can be helpful? Thanks.
