Hi all. I've searched the archives and haven't found an answer to this one, and I've about exhausted my google (et al) search limits.

My company is undergoing a number of changes. As part of that activity, we're changing the name of a number of our products. I've inherited an online help system for one product that is comprised of over 140 source .html files (don't ask). I need to, for the third time in five weeks, scrub the help system for references to the product name. (Did I mention that we're undergoing a lot of changes?)

I've written out or written around the product name as much as possible. But there are some instances where the name just has to remain. What I'd like to do is define a variable (a la Frame) for the product name in one location, then "call in" that variable where appropriate. (I don't have a lot of confidence that this is the last name change that will happen, so it's worth it to me to spend the time to do this - assuming it can be done - to save time in the future.)

Gentle techwr-lers, do you know of a way to do this?

For reasons which I also don't care to explain, I'm maintaining this behemoth in HomeSite (4.5).

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Regards,

Anne Halsey
