Lucida Sans Typewriter does a good job of distinguishing 1/I/l and 0/O, and
unlike Andale Mono (which is otherwise a good choice), there is a full
family of angle and weight variants. It's available from adobe.com or
(cheaper) agfamonotype.com.

In her summary of responses to her post, Gilda Spitz concluded "And the
winner is... Lucida Sans Unicode..."

I respectfully disagree. Lucida Sans Unicode is a proportionally-spaced
font, not a monospaced font. That makes it totally inappropriate for
formatting blocks of code.
