I recently applied with a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) company for a technical writing position and am set to be interviewed sometime next week. My problem: I have no background in GIS. SO, I was wondering if any of my esteemed colleagues has had any experience in GIS technical writing and could give me some help on what to expect. I would like to study up on the applicable software before the interview as well.

Thanks for the help!

Tara Bowman
