Not really, but they're not 100% intuitive either. Any "help" files I've seen have been included as a text pop-up in assorted third-party software - nothing like full PC-style help.

Speaking as a user, would I welcome help files? Yes, but not at the expense of memory.

I'd also welcome a fuller *fast* word processor. I can get quick text entry or slow semi-word processing, and I keep ending up with cognitive dissonance in meetings because what I'm hearing, what I'm typing, and what I'm seeing on the screen are running on different timelines. It's not the question you asked, but hey, if you're developing software for handhelds, think about it.
