The latest discussion on the pros and cons of contracting has introduced me to
several new terms describing what I think I do.

In my part of the country, I am called a contractor. I work for an agency and am
in a fairly long term contract within the semiconductor industry. Several of the
largest companies here locally only work with "contractors" from an agency.

So my question is: How does one go to genuine contractor status (eliminating the
middle man)? How do you get you clients? In other words, how do you get to keep
all the $$?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Dave
