First of all may I please pass on my condolences to everyone in the US who
has lost a family member, friend or colleague in yesterday's tragedy, my
thoughts are with you all. Secondly may I express my sympathy to you all in
America for the tragedy that unfolded yesterday, it is beyond comprehension.
Sitting in front of my TV in relative safety in the UK last night and
watching the news reports was a very sombre and terrifying experience, I can
only begin to imagine what it was like to be a lot closer. Events like this
only serve one purpose, they unify the entire civilised world into a single
people, united in the determination that the evil that perpetrate these acts
will never prevail. We are all in this together and we must ensure that the
memorial to those who died is a better safer world. We must never forget.
My thoughts are with you all.
