Salette says, "At a prior job, I was not only asked this question on the
application, I
actually had to supply transcripts. An HR rep later told me that the company
did not hire anyone with under a 3.0 GPA."

Who ever said that GPA was equivalent to success on the job? My son has
every learning disability that could be imagined and struggled to maintain a
3.0 GPA. He finally dropped out of college (he was 18 and had 60 credits --
a very motivated yound man) and took a programming job making twice what his
mother was making as a college professor.

Obviously, I changed careers at that point....
