It shouldn't, but it often does. There are those writers for whom tools
are sacred. To speak unkindly of their favorite tools is akin to calling
their beloved child stupid.

There are many tools out there. Use what works for you. If Word works -
use it. If it doesn't, try something else. Don't get swayed by the
loudmouths who tell you things like "real professionals use Tool X."

As repeated many times in this forum - a real professional can produce
quality material in less than ideal conditions (with virtually any tool).
