Thank you for your recent help. I received many thoughtful and informative 
responses to my marketing/technical writing quandary, and we employees are 
using those emails to work together better. They certainly helped me clarify 
my role. Often a technical writer - well, at least this technical writer - 
doesn't understand enough about how the enterprise works.
I also received much useful information about current thinking around 
marcomm.
Funny, now I'd like to work with that VP. When I'm feeling confident, I'll 
approach him.
