Or hard returns to get to the next line... I could just
scream when I get a 10 - 20 page doc from some SME who
thinks he's using a typewriter. Reminds me of Dilbert's
boss.

"Oh... I'm getting close to the end of the line. I'd
better use this "Enter" key so my text doesn't run off
the side of my monitor."

Maybe they have a version of Word that "dings" when they
get within five characters of the end of a line?

PS: Classes in Word (given by TWs) should be something
we can _require_ people to attend :-)

I don't often see your problem -- spacing to the next line.
But hard returns to get to the next page? Now *there's* a
technique!

Idunno what the solution is. I gave a class in Word; nobody
who really *needed* that class came to it. I've gone into
fits when I see them do it and suggest ctrl+shift+enter as
a solution. And truth be told, I've even threatened to slug
one or two... ;-)

As much as devs don't like to be called users, they're
exibiting classic user behavior -- learn just enough to
get by and no more. Maybe if they all had to look at the
spaces, tabs, and returns as they typed they'd pick up on
it easier/faster, Idunno. Maybe when they do it, we should
just call them "users" -- that'll teach 'em! <evil grin>
