Hi, all...first, thanks to everyone who responded. There were more
than I can think individually.

Second...as this is delivered tomorrow and I have bigger windmills to
tilt at, I went with leaving the S in instead of rewriting the first
sentence or introducing a whole new cycle of changes.

I think what threw me off was that I was seeing "benefits" as plural,
hence using singular. Forgot it wasn't the benefits that I needed to
agree with, but the process...(2 days off since the 2nd of Jan will
do that to you...)

I think it goes something like this: "Sometimes you need to know when
to fold 'em."
