I have to concur with Keith on this one. Word 97 Annoyance is THE essential
book on MS Word. If you could buy only one book this is it.

Also very worthwhile, espcially as it's written for tech writers, is Jean
Webers "Taming Microsoft Word". Lots of useful advice, athough she doesn't
get into the innards of Word quite as deep as Woody does in his book. You
