In response to an offlist e-mail: I absolutely didn't intend the above to
refer to Kelley, whose participation in the "Hiring Publications Managers"
thread has been informative, entertaining, and courteous - especially given
that it went kind of offtopic from her original question! (Still don't agree
with you, Kelley - but that's an entirely different matter.)
