Loewen's book is really interesting. However, IMO his off-the-deep-end
leftist agenda detracts from it somewhat. Of course, that could make for
some interesting classroom discussions! I'd be interested to see your study
guide, too.

I haven't read Vacchs' (or is it Vacchs's?) book, but I'll look for it.

"I am about to contact James Loewen, whose book "Lies My Teacher Told Me"
is, along with Vacchs's "False Allegations," will be one of the texts I am
teaching. I am developing a study guide for the book, and perhaps he will
be interested in my work."

Marvelous books! Go for it. My husband is a political activist, and "Lies"
is one of his favorite recommendations to newly-awakened folks. I don't
know Mr. Loewen, but I have a feeling he would be very pleased to have
someone write a study guide! I'll remind you later on to send us a copy!
