When we installed Netscape 6.x on our PCs, we found that it had a nasty
habit of changing ALL our .gifs to Netscape gifs (I don't remember the
extension), which made them unacceptable to our corporate publishing system.
We had to do a lot of patchwork because of this "feature". Don't know
whether this has since been fixed, but I'm not anxious to go through that
all again. It's back to Netscape 4.7 and IE 5.5 for the duration.
