TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Techwr-l needs some snorkies. THere is nothing like lying in the grass snorking
and sticking your tongue out. It works for my German Shepard.
All lists go through periods of funkiness and personal griping. Some people,
despite all the warnings, insist on taking things personally. Its natural. They
can't help it. They read words and instantly internalize them. It sucks, but
you can't just recompile their kernel. They insist on throwing an exception
every time they process an idea that disagrees with their protocol stack.
Eventually these issues die down to be replaced by new ones. Thus adding to the
Great Cycle of Life...or in this case the Great Cycle of Listservs.
As Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg would say "Life, which you so nobly serve, comes
from destruction, disorder, and chaos...By causing a little destruction from
time to time, we're actually encouraging life."
So, lie back and snorky. All is good.
Get back to work you.
