One more piece of advice regarding the list is looking what other tech.
writing lists do and see if there is anything useful to be learned from
their experience. I am also subscribed to another more local tech. writing
list and what struck me when I subscribed to Techwr-l was the length of the
posts [and the more general type of issues discussed]. This gave me the idea
of writing a comparison paper between the different lists, but unfortunately
I don't have enough time for that. If anyone out there considers this
interesting and is willing to pick up the glove, I can offer some help from
my end.
