Things may be picking up. Monster.com, justtechwriterjobs.com, and several other job boards have Boston-area listings this week. They all seem to be from different companies. Some of them actually look like the work would be interesting. Most don't mention salary range, so I suspect they aren't offering premium pay rates, but you may find something tolerable to pay the rent and pet food bills.
