I was on a KM mailing list once for a little while because I thought the
KM concept sounded interesting.

I don't know if all KM is like this, but the list members were mostly
academic types debating about how many chunks of information could dance
on the head of a pin.

I hung around until one of the more colorful members stopped posting, and
since even the entertainment value had vanished, I left.

Maybe KM practioners have changed since then.
