So you performed a thorough review on it at that time - noted grammatical
errors, said that the design would have to be reworked, said that the fonts
should be two points larger, that it didn't look like it could be
single-sourced....

pointed out that it was a hard world out there - and that as leading
technical writer you would have your name on the document rather than his -
he only did the work, but obviously you were the directing inspiration and
force behind his accomplishments....

for the betterment of humanity could you get him to look into cold fusion
and powering automobiles with water (must be pollution-free).....

he sounds like a genius - wait till he discovers what we get paid....or
don't, as the case maybe!!!!
