Sure. Document the user tasks separately. I often
call it a "<product name> Roadmap".
---
When you first install the system, you'll want to:

1. Configure the bundisdap (page 15)
2. Import the framis database (page 32)
3. Set up the mulberry tree-view (page 28)

As you use the software on a daily basis, you'll:

1. Create new gerps (page 45)
2. Make changes to existing gerps (page 60)
...

On a schedule of your choosing, you should:

1. Delete obsolete gerps (page 48)
...

I realize that my description of the situation is a bit vague, but does
anyone have any thoughts on how to compromise in print between documenting
functions/features and following user tasks?

Blah. My day started out so well.

Thanks in advance,
