Seriously though, a lot of companies crash and burn on short
notice these days. In my experience, when they don't return your
calls either they don't want to talk to you, or the company has
folded. Just forget about it and move on... I usually don't
pursue them because I don't want to be a pest, and besides I
figure my time is better spent contacting new prospects.

On the other hand, a lot of people are taking days off to do
their taxes this week. They may surprise you and call back after
a while. I got my current gig after two weeks of no contact
after the initial phone call.

If you want to cover all your communication bases, don't forget
fax. Faxes are neat because unlike email, they lie around the
office and everybody sees them.
