Dear Casper,

I'm not sure if I'm interpreting this correctly, but it seems to me that
you're considering giving your users one big installation guide with all the
"flavors" and OS versions included. One issue that I've run into with
writing user guides for multiple-version products is that not every version
will have the same features. Even products with the same version number, but
designed for different operating systems, may have different
functionalities. Your users may get confused when they read about features
they don't have. Marketing might also have something to say about sending
documentation describing features to customers that they won't be getting.

Just a thought,
Susan
