Hi Whirlers,

Delurking to ask a quick question that a colleague has encountered:

We just recently "upgraded" to Windows 2000. In an open document, the
graphics are displaying but there is a tiny red _x_ in the top left
corner of the graphic. It occurs on two screen shots - one small, one
about a half page in size. When you click it, the red _x_ goes away,
but it comes back again when you move away from it and then re-scroll to
it.

(Not to be confused with the issue of the red _x_ completely replacing
the graphic--the graphic itself is still visible.)

It's more of an annoyance than a real problem, but does anyone have any
idea why this would happen?

Thanks for any insight,
Laura
