These companies are managed by dunderheads. You've got guys like Keith
spinning their wheels waiting for bloated, improperly-created PDFs to
print. That's productivity and money down the drain. Not to mention the
pain and cost of whatever voodoo was used to create the PDF in the first
place. And, then the cost of hardware to store, transfer, and deal with
those bloated PDFs . . ..

Unfortunately, so many companies think that this is it and how PDFs are.
They are unwilling to even let me consult for an hour to help them get
better PDFs. They see no need for it. 5 meg user manual on the web? OK.
It
is just bandwidth. Even though I can show them how to get a 2.5 meg
document, it doesn't matter to them. There is no return on the
investment.
And I understand that.
