Darn you, Andrew: some people can always find the silver lining.

An HR contractor who was very nice to me at my previous horrible job was required to serve 2 locations in different parts of town on different days. At the downtown location she did the usual HR tasks. At the uptown location she also had to fill in for reception at lunch and breaks, and fill the fridges and napkin dispensers in the lunch room.

Some of those admin clerks will discover they have a knack for TW and when
things improve, they will demand raises to TW levels. Doubtless they will
then leave and take TW jobs elsewhere.

Some of them may very well be future subscribers to this list.

I find that exciting.
