Geoff's, as usual, well-reasoned response seems to have glossed
over this phrase from the original poster:

If 'we' would never foresee them, how could 'we' create context
sensitive help for them? Or am I missing something else?

Of course, if the product in question is actually equivalent
to a development environment, then we've entered a whole
different arena of documentation.
