John Posada asked "How do YOU handle this....do you just push on and know
that even if it isn't to your standards, it is to the client?"

Hey John,

Here are a couple of tough questions:

- A perfect document (or even a decent one) is a noble goal, but how do you
know when you've succeeded?

- Knowing every detail of your subject can be very satisfying, but does the
knowledge necessarily create a better document?

Here's how I get the most satisfaction out of a project: Create a plan that
states the scope and quality of the document set you're going to write, and
then work towards that plan. In the end, you can measure your success
against quantified goals. The document set might not be "perfect" (whatever
that is), but the process with which you build it will probably be more
satisfying.

Cheers,
D
