STAT: Mailto link in PDF
I've tried inlcuding mailto:"foo -at- cdphp -dot- com" in the WWW link URL box.
When I click on the link, IE opens and tries to access cdphp.com" instead of opening a new mail.
I'm using Acrobat 4.0 and the syntax for the link using the Link tool is
mailto:name -at- domain -dot- com
no spaces, no quote marks.
Depending on your config., your computer may want to open a browser before it knows enough to open your e-mail client. But it should eventually set up an e-mail window for you. I have two different browsers that treate PDF files differently but with Acrobat or either browser, my default e-mail client opens with the right name in the "TO" field.
Hope that's helpful,
