Based on my experience with generic and refilled cartridges, you're better
off taking the deep breath and ponying up the cost of the brand print
cartridges. The grief caused by the generic and refills simply is NOT worth
the savings.

I have an Epson Stylus Color 440 Printer. The Epson print cartridges are so
expensive. Is there a way to buy a generic brand of cartridges that's
cheaper? If I ever decide to buy a new printer, what's the most economical
choice given the high cost of cartridges?
