I recently got myself a blog. Not because I want people to hear what I have
to say, nor because I think anyone out there is interested, but because I
found it to be a convenient place to store ideas, links, and snippets of
writing. If someone happens to stumble across one of my items, and comments
on it, so much the better for me. Or, if I want someone to provide some
feedback or information, all I have to do is send a URL. And, it is
conveniently located where I can get to it from both work and home.

I doubt I will have even 6 readers, let alone hit pundit fame. But it is
convenient.
