RE: Do as they say, not as they do
That particular error might not be so obvious to most readers. Especially if
you weren't thinking about looking for it. A company can be aware of errors
and omissions (and I'm sure MS has been made aware, by now, of this one),
however may chose not to act.
This reminds me of one of my favorite "editing" errors.
In 1988, Mickey Mouse was celebrating his 60th anniversary, and the Disney company put out a special magazine called "Mickey is Sixty!" (http://www.finddisney.com/shopping/Sales%20page10a.htm). At the bottom of each page, the name of the magazine was repeated, as is common in magazines. One one page (perhaps page 60?), the name was changed to "Mickey is Sexy!" The magazine sells for quite a bit now as a result.
