Clever story. Though seeing as a search for "mickey is sexy" turned
up exactly one (unrelated) result on Google, I'm tempted to suggest
that it's nothing more than folklore.
Definitely not folklore. The story came out when the magazine was still on the newstands. Although I had no interest in purchasing the magazine (going to college and short on funds), I did look for the phrase...and it was there!
