Do you have any idea how silly that statement sounds?

Is any list objective? Techwr-L certainly isn't. If we discuss
programmer/developer - techwriter dynamics the list is skewed to the
techwriter's point of view. Are there any objective lists out there?

If you want ot organise in support of a course of action, you discuss it with
others who share at least the base belief in that course of action. Do the
Democrats make sure the Republicans are fairly represented at their conventions
to ensure that discussions are objective? Of course not.

If a discussion list has to be objective to be worthy of existence, well I'll
leave it to you to tell the millions of organisations, focus groups, and lists
that they are unworthy and should disband. Now that's funny. <g>
