No. Companies recruit technical writers based on the documentation
requirements that its customers, development staff and others make. For
example, if a company decides to have documentation assistance for its
development and other teams to make their lives easier or decides to
provide quality user assistance for the products, it will recruit enough
number of technical writers to meet these requirements.
