When Esther -dot- Asham -at- argodata -dot- com asked:

Subash replied:

1.Software Engineering by Ian Sommerville
2.Successful Software Development by Scott E. Donaldson, Stanley G. Siegel
3.Quality Software Project Management by Robert T. Futrell, Donald F. Shafer, Linda I. Shafer

You might also try:

Software Project Survival Guide by Steve McConnell (his web site is construx.com)

I've also found that a few government organizations (US and Canada) post their SDLC guidelines on the web. You can find them by Googling on the specific phase or document related to the SDLC.
