Once you have resized the screen captures in Photoshop by increasing their
resolution, you can import them into your page layout program.

There is no need to use Photoshop to do this - in fact it is dangerous especially for inexperienced users since you can reduce the image quality if you do the wrong things.

The best - quickes and safest - way to reduce the size of screenshots that are too large is to simply shrink them in the layout application. This preserves all image data, resulting in optimal print quality.

(Note that the image may look "fuzzy" at 100% resolution in PDF files. This is natural, cannot in general be avoided, and is easily corrected by increasing the zoom factor in Acrobat when viewing the document.)
