OK, guys...time to try this again,

On a date to be announced, within the next 2-3 weeks, I'm going to set a
time and place for the NY metro area technical writers to get together for a
few drinks and munchies after work, at a place I'll be picking.

Last time I attempted this, more than 20 people suggested where and when
they wanted, then when the time came, only three of us showed up. What that
told me was that it doesn't matter where it is...if you're gonna come,
you'll come, and if not, then not.

However, I will take suggestions, so if you want your suggestions to be
considered, and want to be notified of the place and date, send me an email
off-list and I will attempt to take your suggestions into consideration...I
really will.

This will be nothing fancy, just a way for us to do exactly what we do on
this list (no, not talk about each other), but face to face with a nice beer
or scotch and a couple of big mounds of nachos and wings in front of us.

If this sounds like something you might enjoy for a couple of hours, let me
hear from ya.
