On Dice this week (actually for some time now, I believe)
there's an ad for a "technical writer" in L.A. that asks
for a particular typing speed, with this description:

...We need a solid professioanl* with typing skills at
least 60 wpm, **Extensive Excel and Visio experience, some
Sql Svr. Key Skill: Knowledge of a program that manages
clusters called "Compaq Insight Manager"
User will compare email warnings of full disk space with
this program and generate reports!

*Typo and punctuation supplied by the advertiser.

This is a FT position. The pay rate is shown as
"competitive" but I can only imagine what they're comparing
to. Does this sound like a technical writing requirement
to anyone?
